Love-Hate Relationship

When there's no snow, there are always these to contend with.

Love them, hate them, dandelions,
yellow yard invaders,
sneaking up, committing crimes, 
surreptitious raiders!
Seems they can grow overnight,
spreading seeds, like brave crusaders,
perfect lawn degraders!

Dandelions are nice for bees,
not so nice for people.
Dig them up while on your knees,
use some spray that’s lethal.
Grab the seeds before they spread,
or more weeds will be the sequel!
Growth is exponential!

Just don’t want them in my yard;
pretty when they're elsewhere.
Growing grass is plenty hard,
when you do the lawn care.
Weed control’s impossible:
dandelions will always be there!
They're my summer nightmare!
